To all our friends,
I wanted to let you all know that Haunted Hunters has completed our
investigation and overnight stay of Alcatraz island, yes we spent the night
on the rock. We all slept in cells in D Block! Well what little we slept
anyway! We have already started the review process and unsurprisingly have already found some good stuff! We will post all of our findings on our website as
soon as we have done our reveal with the National Park Service.
We would like to give an extra thanks to Rangers George and Amy for their
support. They were troopers into the early morning hours taking us to areas
of the island the general public does not have access to for our investigation!
We were the third paranormal team to ever investigate the island with this new lottery program and the first to be allowed free access to all areas. We worked hard with the
Rangers to set up the perfect program for future teams and hope that all
future investigations on the rock will be as successful as ours was.
For those who are not on teams but do plan on visiting the island soon I
will give you a bit of a hint. Take the latest tour possible and pause your
mp3 player while you are near solitary or the kitchens and just listen!!
You won't be disappointed! For those teams who wish to follow in our
footsteps you will need to apply for the lottery held every year by the park
service. You can find more information on the lottery at

Teams that are selected will need to know they don't pick the date to
investigate you are assigned one by the park service. They do require some
general clean-up from each group, we picked up trash for about an hour and a
half or so. Once that is completed they will have you complete a guided
tour of the island, this is worth it, and then you will eat a bbq. After
the last of the visitors are off the island your team will then be allowed
to investigate, be patient during this process, it is well worth it trust
us!
