Hi my name is Kristi Cardwell; let me tell you a little bit about myself. I was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest and grew up in a middle-upper class suburb in Reno, Nevada. I graduated from Wooster High School and decided to travel and gain employment experience prior to attending college. I visited Mexico, the Southern U.S. states of Texas and Tennessee, the Pacific Southwest states of California, New Mexico, Arizona, and followed up with the Pacific Northwest states of Washington, Nevada, and Oregon where I finally settled down in Klamath County. I am an avid fast pitch softball player and have been since I was 7 years old, I started off as a second baseman and pitcher but finally found my home leading the team as a catcher. I love surfing and the ocean; you can not pull me away!

I have a deep appreciation and love for music. I am a fan of almost every genre. I am especially fond of traditional country music and soul music with my favorites being Sammy Kershaw, Kenny Chesney, Taylor Hicks, and Billie Holiday.

I graduated college with an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice in 2002 from Klamath Community College and a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Psychology in 2004 from Oregon Institute of Technology. I have also recently become an ordained minister through the Universal Life Church to complete blessings of homes and businesses.

From an early age I have always been fascinated with the paranormal. I would watch horror movies through clenched fingers on my face, but would love every minute of it. I have had many paranormal experiences since starting Haunted Hunters and before hand. One particular vivid experience was when I was sixteen years old. I was with a friend up in Rattlesnake Mountain in Reno, Nevada when we repeatedly heard a woman’s voice screaming for help. We walked towards where we thought the screaming was coming from and saw a flash of bright red light streak past us. Now normally in the middle of the daytime out in the middle of nowhere red lights with no source of origin do not happen, at least as far as I know. We then heard the same woman’s voice yelling a warning to leave and “get out of here” when we felt the presence of something very malevolent. We turned to go back to the van and saw coming up the road a Washoe County Deputy Sheriff cruiser. When he approached us he was of course suspicious of two teenagers out in the middle of nowhere. We told him what we heard and he obviously thought we were high on drugs as he asked to search the van. As he was searching another Deputy arrived and began chatting with us. From out of nowhere I had the almost uncontrollable urge to grab his gun and shoot the two of them dead. When the officer found nothing in the van of interest he told us we were on private property and asked us to leave. As I was pulling away I glanced in my rear-view mirror to see three men standing where two were when we left. Who that third man was I had no idea but knew at that moment that he was not of this world!

Haunted Hunters was started to assist those going through paranormal activities in their homes and businesses. We want to be able to spread the understanding of the paranormal as well as help those to live with or remove spirits from their lives. Haunted Hunters does not charge for our services and have only our client’s privacy and safety in mind.
